Conclusion
We really don't criticize games in previews, as you know if your a regular reader of this site. Even if we did, I just couldn't find much that I didn't like about Soulbringer, and that’s one of the greatest compliments a critic like me can hand out. Soulbringer is destined to be one of the best RPG’s to hit the market this year even though it isn't going to get the push other titles do. Soulbringer has some of the most addictive gameplay I’ve seen in recent years, and I just couldn’t stop playing it! When I did stop, to sleep, I dreamt about playing it! There are only two other games I can say that about - Planescape: Torment and Fallout, and both of these titles were RPG of the year award winners on many sites.
Great dialogue, an interesting story, unique graphical look, and of course an interesting magic / combat system make Soulbringer another great looking RPG to spend some time on this summer. If you're looking for a more traditional RPG this summer than the abundance of hybrids coming out, then you should check out this game.
